Aquarius
The ultimate high energy tribute to the late 60’s with a Monterrey Pop Festival/Woodstock-theme review in which band members perform in costume impersonating some of the 60’s most iconic rock stars: Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, JoeCocker, John Fogerty, Bob Dylan and Country Joe (and the Fish) to name a few. Cashin’ In
Steve Waddington’s tribute to Johnny Cash. Steve is a gifted vocal impressionist and guitarist who has been portraying various artists in many productions for over 20 years. 6'5" tall and slender, with that long black coat, dark hair piled high, and an acoustic guitar slung over his shoulder, Steve Waddington is the definitive image of Johnny Cash in his prime! And when he steps up to the mic to sing, that big, rich, baritone, voice leaves no doubt...this is as close as it's ever going to get to the real thing! A tribute to the Cars! The ultimate tribute to the Cars, Candy-O was inspired and formed in 2001 by Darryl (Ocasek) Battaglia who was looking to put together a band that would appeal to the mass audience who loved the sound and total vibe of the 80's. Rounding out the line-up is McCrea (Hawkes) Adams on keyboards and vocals, Brenton (Orr) Worthy on bass and vocals, Steven (Easton) Lawrence on guitar and Axel (Robinson) Clarke on drums. All professional seasoned musicians. THE CARS were easily one of the most popular bands from the late 70's and early 80's. Ahead of their time, the Cars helped shape the 80's "new wave" sound which is hugely popular almost 40 years later. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in 2018! Before MTV there was Soul Train created by Don Cornelius. It was one of the longest running, 35 years, syndicated programs in American television history. Soul Town Train is a tribute to the music of “Soul Train” and the legendary artists that appeared every week. Soul Town Train honors RnB legends Smokey Robinson, The O’Jays, Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Sly & The Family Stone, The Isley Brothers, James Brown and many more.
Aileen Quinn and The Leapin’ Lizards
Annie the red-haired orphan is all grown up and her band The Leapin’ Lizards are sure to liven up any event or occasion! This high-octane band really delivers with foot stomping', grooving tunes and sassy, sexy melodic vocals. A two-time Golden Globe nominated actress best known for playing the title role in the 1982 film "Annie", Aileen has also recorded two albums with Columbia Records: the multi-platinum "Annie" soundtrack, and her solo album, "Bobby's Girl", produced by Barbra Streisand/Dolly Parton producer, Gary Klein. Aileen's powerful, vocals take the audience on a rockin' ride, swingin' to a masterfully mix of classic and Rockabilly hits from the 50's and 60's, as well as the band's own soulful memorable originals.
